For those of you who haven't switched over yet, I am using a new xanga.

http://www.xanga.com/shillyshara

You're welcome to subscribe to this one, read it, comment on it, etc.

CivilSarah will no longer be updated. Ever.

Well, maybe... I like the user name, so I think I'll keep it around for just a bit. But just don't expect much here.

I am using this xanga as a platform for testing out xanga themes in conjunction with my uber stalker ip tracker. I'm not actually updating this, I'm just messing around with it.

EDIT: Ok, statcounter still doesn't work with themes. Boo. Back to radio silence and the purple-ness...

Boo. This is just to see if you're paying attention. This is NOT a real update. It is intended merely to keep you guessing.

I posted this a year and a half ago, but I thought I'd post it again, updated.

For each category, give three answers or three completions to each sentence. This has no purpose or fun ending, you just give three answers. For no particular reason. That's it. Try to enjoy...

I wish I had... more patience, someone to love, energy (lots of it).

My biggest regrets are... not learning more stuff in college, letting friendships slide, not being more outgoing.

Tomorrow I'd like to... sleep in (haha riiiight), fall in love, enjoy life.

When I was a little girl I wanted to... live in a castle, get married, be a super hero.

I hate... allergies, selfishness, loneliness.

It feels good to... get a massage, laugh with friends, remember God's grace.

If I could change something about myself, I would... be more Christ-like, exercise more, be more assertive.

If I could start over, I would start over and... put Christ first in relationships, do a better job at work, make my apartment super cute.

My biggest turnoffs are... B.O., ego, bashing God/Christianity.

I adore... cuddling, good music, pretty autumn days.

People who make me very happy are... 200 Club, family, and I can't come up with a third. That covers it all.

I'm most like... Anne (apparently), my mom, my sister.

If I could live the life of any character from a movie, it would be... Arwen (the she-elf on Lord of the Rings), Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice, and Lt.Col. Samantha Carter from Stargate SG-1 (I know it's a tv show, get over it. ).

My default activities are... sleeping, watching tv, reading.

My best memories are... the Pirate Murder Mystery, Easter weekend 2006, family vacation to Hawaii May 1999.

My secret wishes are... if I told you, they wouldn't be a secret, would they.

My life goals are... to become a Godly woman, to find a job that makes me excited to get up in the morning, to praise Jesus more and more each day.

This whole lack of daylight savings thing is not cool. I'd rather have my daylight at the end of the day than first thing in the morning, particularly since I've been working late this week (and will probably continue to do so for a while). The sun is up for about an hour before I get to work at 8, and then it's completely gone by the time I leave at 6-6:30. This is just as much a rant against working late as it is against the sun going down early.

On a happier note, I haven't run my AC in almost a month and that makes me extremely happy. My electric bill had better be under $50 this month or heads are going to roll. (Probably mine, since I will likely explode. Last straw and all.) I never thought I'd say this, but I miss TXU as my electric provider... they gave me money for being such a good customer. I'm stuck with this other company whose bill I can't even decipher... one of the pitfalls of being in an apartment is I don't have options for my electric provider. Oh well.

Yay cooler weather! (I'll just end with that.)
